Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Holland
Friday, April 24, 2020
On behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion Foundation, our "Enduring Tulip" Gala at the Sheraton Guildford Hotel & Convention Centre. It is with pride that we also celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Holland by our Canadian Troops during WW II.
As a traditional non-profit organization serving all Veterans’, First Responders and citizens in the community, the Legion does not often ask for support. However, the time has come and the issues are sufficiently relevant for us to engage in partnerships through our 2020 Fundraising Gala. In this regard it would be a wonderful tribute for our Veterans, our Troops and First Responders to have your support.
The Royal Canadian Legion Foundation is looking for Sponsors to help raise $500.000.00 for a “LOKOMAT” machine that provides necessary assistance to help our Troops and First Responders who have been injured train their mind and brain to reactivate the muscles and bodies to walk again. This machine is a wonderful tool that is badly needed at our Legion Village. Donation towards this project would be greatly appreciated by everyone and especially the families who need this equipment to live a full and productive life once again.
We would like to thank you in advance for your kind any participation you might have in our 2nd Annual BC/Yukon Legion Foundation Gala. All proceeds raised will be a tremendous help for the future assistance and welfare of our Veterans’ and First Responders and also support other critical and meaningful programs.
