Give to the Annual Legion Foundation BC/Yukon Command KeyTag Campaign
The Legion Foundation, BC/Yukon Command is the giving arm of The Royal Canadian Legion BC/Yukon Command. It is generously supported by the Legion’s branches, Ladies’ Auxiliaries, the Vancouver Poppy Fund and Victoria Poppy Funds - who tirelessly fundraise to support our giving objectives.
Your gift will help improve the every day lives of our veterans.
This year marks the Legion Foundations 24th anniversary!
The Foundation was formed in 1997 to be charitable arm of the Legion. As a registered charitable organization the Legion Foundation continues to support Veterans and strengthen communities. We will be giving more than $500,000 in support this year due to the generosity all those who donate.
This exciting BC/Yukon initiative for current and former Canadian Armed Forces members assists them to successfully develop in their current career or transition to civilian life using a three pronged approach: academic, entrepreneurial and employment.
Participants can choose to follow one, two or all three of the following program paths:
Losing your keys is a frustrating, time consuming and expensive experience. As a solution, the Legion Foundation BC/Yukon Command will return lost keys using the Lost Key Tags for 2020/2021.
Simply attach the key tags to all your key sets and if you lose them you will receive them back in the mail when they are found and sent to us. It is a safe and simple way to increase the likelihood of keys being returned to their owners.
The Legion is committed to supporting Veterans and their families by offering financial assistance for post-secondary education to those in need.
For more than 85 years, the Legion has been an iconic cornerstone of Canadian communities' at the forefront of support for returning military personnel and their families.
Now, a new generation of veterans is coming home, and your gift has never been more important. Veterans will continue to turn to the Legion for support in affordable housing, career transition counseling and trauma relief. Your donation will make a world of difference to struggling veterans.
