A free, confidential 24hr crisis-line, which connects directly to a mental health professional . This service can provide immediate support and counselling, and make short-term referrals to local mental health professionals. If you are in crisis, please call 1-800-268-7708.
Veterans Transition Program:
A free program of specialized guided group therapy for Veterans delivered over three weekends. If you are interested, please visit the website, or call a Command Service Officer for referral.
Heads Up Guys:
A free internet resource for men suffering from depression (non-Veteran specific).

New Chelsea Society Housing:
A housing society operating primarily in Vancouver, British Columbia. They offer affordable family and senior’s housing. Applicants must first be registered with BC Housing.
TEMPORARY HOUSING FOR MEDICAL PURPOSES:
Owned and operated by the New Chelsea Society. Winch House offers free, temporary accommodation in Vancouver for Veterans, first responders, and Legion members who must travel from out of town for medical treatment.
Temporary accommodation for Canadian Forces personnel, emergency services personnel and their families to stay, completely free of charge, while they are receiving medical care and treatment in the Metro Vancouver area.
HOUSING FOR HOMELESS VETERANS:
An 11 bed multiplex providing homeless veterans with housing, counselling, life skills, health and social services and transportation. For referral, contact a Command Service Officer. [LINK TO CONTACT PAGE].
The Support Our Troops Fund:
A collection of funds which can be used to assist serving members of the Canadian Forces and Veterans.
The Last Post Fund:
A fund which can be used to assist low-income families of deceased Veterans with the costs of funeral and burial services.
BCIT Legion Military Skills Conversion Program:
A program designed to help accelerate and advance the civilian careers of former and current Reserve Force and Regular Force Canadian military members through advanced placement in degree programs, career-hunting skills workshops, and capital for entrepreneurial endeavors .
