Remembrance Day

Date: November 11
Place: Gardens are located across from the St. Andrews Cemetery - 23105 St. Glover Road

The Fort Langley Heritage Garden volunteers have been working very hard in the past few weeks to prepare for a special Remembrance Day tribute on November 11th. The gardens are located directly across from the St. Andrews cemetery at 23105 St. Glover Road in historic Fort Langley.

We are pleased to invite the public to walk through the garden and to light a candle or plant some poppy seeds in remembrance of our fallen and in honour of those who continue to serve Canada in the military throughout the world. The planned display includes some very unique artwork by Brookswood artist, Julie Bourne, who crafts beautiful and evocative ceramic poppy sculptures. Julie is interested in contacting local Canadian Legion branches to display the poppies and to have them made available to the public.
