Salute to Veterans

The Legion is the official producer of the “Salute to Veterans & Military Valour” annual half-time show for the BC Lions, and we need your support to make it a bigger and better event. This year’s show is being held on Saturday November 2nd at 7:00pm.

Over 25,000 adoring fans standing and cheering as you proudly march on the field wearing your Legion uniform. We can really show what the Legion is all about to this enormous, welcoming public audience.

It really is a unique and enjoyable experience, but it goes even deeper than that. It’s our time to shine in the eyes of the public. We don’t always receive the gratitude we deserve for our unwavering community service. This is our chance to MARCH ON and show the public we are proud of our role as the guardians of Remembrance and as a truly patriotic Canadian organization.

World War II Veterans Honoured – Here’s How

This year our theme is the 75th Anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. World War II Veterans will be acknowledged at the event by riding on military vehicles as part of the salute. Their names will be acknowledged throughout the game over the loud speaker.
