Many branches manage Ladies Auxiliaries which are major contributors to the day to day life of the branch.
Members of the Ladies' Auxiliary support the aims and objects of The Royal Canadian Legion and their dedicated service enriches the programs and activities of the Branch.
The Legion Ladies Auxiliary (LA) acts as a very important support to the Legion Branches and Communities in which they operate. Established in 1928 the LA has been a tremendous fundraising force for the charitable giving in local communities. Through their work in Legions, the 80 LA branches in BC and Yukon have supported local events, fundraisers and partnered with their Comrades on the Legion branch side for the good of Veterans and their dependents.
The Legion and LA are both open to new members of both genders. The Auxiliary is a great place for young people to learn about fundraising, organization events and generally to volunteer. Most, but not all, Legion Branches have Ladies Auxiliaries. For more information on LAs in your area, please contact your Local Branch.
